Post damn golf balls

arghs, i hate living next to a golf course. Just went outside and found out that my entire back windshield was taken out by a golf ball. no note. nothing. ARGHS. does anyone know roughly how much it costs to replace the window? and how long it's going to take? GOLF is NOT a sport!!!

yo, that sux, go to the golf course, SH]T!
they should take care of that(better pay), you got the evidence, dont throw away the golf ball lol! it should even have the name of the golf course engraved in it.(is it a driving range or just simple flat out land golf course?)
hope things werk out!, go make them pay for it, not your fault....

Holy sh!t, I can't imagine it's cheap. Do what j83 said. Considering the back window has the radio antenna, defroster, and I think the Navi antenna, it's gotta be big bucks. See what the course manager can do for you.

Good luck.

DAMN!!

The back I think is pretty expensive cuz it has the defroster and radio...

Where in the Bay do you live??

You should try and talk to the people who own the golf course.. They should be responsible for protecting the surounding area from stray balls.

I mean, that could have easily been a person getting hit by the ball!!

Thumbs up

Find one of those old a$$ men and make em pay!!! No seriously, the best alternative is to chase down those pesky owners of that club and make them do something to compensate your window...get an estimate and then do your dirty work.....side note...it may take a while...you may not want to drive when rainy this summer!!!!!!

GOOD LUCK

thanks for the support guys. the country club manager called me back and said they will pay for the damages. Thank God. Me being a college student doesn't really leave me with a thousand bucks lying around for emergencies. I called Oakland Acura today and they didn't have any windshields in stock so i can't really get this fixed till next week. It's also illegal to drive without a rear windshield so i'm not sure how i'm going to get my car to the dealership. Maybe i should just get some auto glass company to fix it. Any suggestions?

edub-tl: i go to school in berkeley, and live in richmond with my roomate.

damn golfers. why won't they fess up when they screw someone over. it's going to cost me somewhere like 700 bucks for the windshield and another 100 or 150 for the labor. It's only glass!!! Bleh

Damn, sorry to hear that, at least they're gonna pay for it and you don't have too, but the trouble of going thru it all.

Move is all I gotta say. I live near golf courses too, but not close enough that the stray balls will hit my car.
