you mean the low beam bulbs?
Kaixen brand is used by many here- stock color is 4300k, you can get 5000k which adds more blue but keeps the white in front of the car, the blue helps pick out road lane marking paint
6000k is way more blue with a little white- you do lose some visabilty brightness right in front of the car- the blue picks up the lane markings-road signs-everything with reflecto on it jumps out at you- especially good in bad weather
So if brightness is key go with 5000k
vendor Excelerate carries them- abut $150 a pair- dealer gets 200 per for stock!!
cheap bulbs may not last and may not be as effective- technology has come a long way, Kaixen happens to be the big lighting research facilty- and they make their product as a result of those test

Go to lowes and check out the big display for flourescent lights- they have good illustration pics of each color rating from 3000-kitchen lighting up to 8000 midday sun

There is Nothing brighter than the stock 4300. The highest i would go is 5k. I went with 6 and i dont like it. There is a reduction in usable light.

If you go to 5k, does it require you to change out the ballasts or can those go in as stock replacements? the higher in number you go, the brighter the glow? I thought it was opposite as the higher you go the less brighter but more blue...

i am sorry, i have no say in this, but did you not read the above posts. they all say, "the higher the number the lower the output". not sure where you got mixed up.

Are you using the 5000k or 6000k? I have 6000k in my fogs, but I as well as Kris notice a reduction in lightoutput compared to the stock 4300k. I want to upgrade my headlights to closer match the light output of the fogs and I'm thinking 5000k is the way to go.

Yeah, I misread 01tl4tl's post where he states, Go to lowes and check out the big display for flourescent lights- they have good illustration pics of each color rating from 3000-kitchen lighting up to 8000 midday sun." I glazed over the word color... my bad... the higher you go the lower the output but color is high...
