D2r/d2s

i have the 2000 3.2tl...would d2s fit in it as well? if so, what modifications need to be made to the bulb? has anyone done it? what is the difference in light output...???? please help me out thanx...

D2S bulbs will fit in the slot just fine.....I think someone with a 99-01 TL has D2S, but I'm not sure who.

D2R is for our headlight casing while the D2S is for the projector type lighting. You can put a D2S in our headlight with a little modification. I believe Mr Hyde got some D2S in his TL-S so you can ask him. I believed the light output is the same, albeit a little brighter with the D2S.
