cutting strut tower to allow more upper balljoint stroke

Has anyone cut a hole threw there strut tower to allow more movement of the upper balljoints ?

what purpose does that serve?, the ball joint is a pivot not a stroke, the travel is dictated by the control arm not the ball joint, are you plaining doing some rock climbing with your car?

crazy idea that will do nothing but weaken the components.

He wants to go LOW, and gain some clearance.

Hmmm, not sure I'd do it that way but maybe a well-placed BFH strike and then an alignment might get it done?

because the new adjustable ball joints are taller then stock, so now they hit the strut tower, and it gets really f***ing annoying
