Custom plate frame

Here is an idea for those of you that took off your emblems. What do you think? (Originally my friend's idea)

that looks nice.... better if everything in the center... can u take a pic with the whole rear on it? i wanna c how it looks in the big picture.. hehe

Looks OK, but gives the thieves more chances at grabbing a TypeS emblem.

looks better stock. People will knwo its a type-S by looking at the car, not the plate.

I think it looks phat!! But it is true some a$$holes will take all of your emblems in a split second. Why put your car in that kind of a risk.

Man you guys are starting to scare me. I am pretty careful about where I park it. I'll Hope for the best I guess. Gatekeeper, I got the frame at Kragen Auto Parts.

Very creative Walker!

I like your original thinking. It makes your car stand out from the rest in a simple way. Don't live your life in fear of criminals and vandals. Of course they are out there, but these emblems will not bankrupt you. If they steal them, come up with a new idea.

Thanks Wash n Wax. And you're right I can always go down to Acura and pick up some new ones.
Yee - The best way that I have found to take the emblems off is to heat them up with a hair dryer and carefully pry them off. It's just double sided tape holding them on. In my opinion the stock placement of the 3.2 TL-S emblem just looked out of balance with the back end.

hehe looks kinda like my Accord V6 when i first had it... i took it outta the back and stick it on the side... but i put it ABOVE the moulding.. it looked good i've had a lot of compliments before =P
