Custom Exhaust - ~ $ 300 - Is It a Good Deal?
I was just quoted ~ $150 each (~ $300 total) for custom exhaust for my '02 TL-S.
Axle Back with flange installed for easy removal
Oval Tips (welded on)
Clean removal so I can put stocks back on
Also, I was quoted $30 for resonator removal and welding of replacement pipe and hanger replacement.
Should I go for it?

I am not sure if I should shop around a little more. I didn't haggle with the guy at all and I am not sure if the tips he have are the one's I like best. I have attached a pic of one other member's custom exhaust. I really like the tips on his TL. Plus his guy painted his pipes, all for $410.

If its $300 for the exhaust in the picture, I would definitely go for it! That all chrome finish looks sweet, and I like the placement of the pipes relative to the rear bumper.

That's not the exact setup I got. I will post a picture as soon as I can. One thing though, I had them take out the resonator (largeer one) and now it is probably a little too loud for my taste.
If anyone is considering taking out a resonator, take the small one out first. If that's not enough noise for you, then have the larger one taken out too.
I think I may get the larger one re-installed and take out the smaller one instead. They're going to think I'm crazy.
