I might get banned for this one but, ...
Someone on the "other" acura web site is working on sills and an alluminum trim kit. They have pics of what it might look like with "Acura TL" and others.

You don't need to order them, just make them...It cost me like $10 in materials (labor is the big factor)...So, I hope the cost of the ones they are going to sell are not going to be ridiculous...Besides you can put whatever you want on the ones you make...

Here's the material list:
thin aluminum sheet metal - brush finish (satin finish) should be like $7 per 12" x 24" sheet (enough for 3 sets)
Masking tape $1
Razor blades $1
Rubbing alcohol $1
Instructions:
1. Cut the sheet iinto strips (1 1/8") and cut into length size...use either a paper cutter or a sheet metal table cutter.
2. Mask the entire strip with tape
3. Cut out whatever logo or name by placing the drawing on the tape as a stencil...I photoshop the acura and type s and logo on my comp and used sticker paper to print out on.
4. Clean the exposed metal with rubbing alcohol to remove residue tape residue...use alcohol with cottom balls or qtips.
5. Etch the metal...Aluminum will etch in most stuff--pool acid, draino, or get it sandblasted lightly. I have access to a sandblaster and it took 30 secs per piece. Etching would take like 30 minutes for same removal.
6. Remove the tape and use rubbing alcohol to remove residue tape residue.
7. Glue on sills with silicon adhesive (just in case you want to remove later). I used clamps to hold the strips down until the glue cured.
8. Wipe with alcohol to remove residue stains.
Most of the cost is labor, but if you want to custom mod it time ain't a issue.
