Just got bored today...i was changing my oil and me and my friend decided to play around with my car. We took the bottom of the intake box that's closed up out, and stuck pipin in it with a AEM filter, den removed the stock filter from the intake box. Surprisingly works well...not a bad mod...well until i buy the comptech...but until then dis is fun to drive around with. Key is it looks stock...cuz u can't see the piping unless u take the front bumper off..

 

so how does it sound?

 

it's quiet..not too loud..but louder than b4, it's more of a deep throaty sound..sounds good when the vtec kicks in

 

Did you keep all the original parts from the stock intake? Like the air flow sensor.

 

yeah...like i said it's temporary...we were very bored and wanted to see how much it improve performance...still saving up for the comptech
