Long story short, I park my TL @ my buddies apartment complex, hop into his ride to go to Wendy's to grab some munchies. Come back not even 10 minutes later to find my baby has been Hit n' Run!!!!! Motherfuckers.. I swear, didn't even have the decency to leave a note.. I know, that's asking a lot but if your gonna damage someones car and just leave, why not leave a note saying your the least bit sorry. No major damage but the drivers-side of my front bumper/lip is all scratched/scuffed/spidered-paint all to hell.

I'm just gonna cover up the bad area with some decals until I can get it re-painted. I'll post up some celly pics in a lil' bit.. pretty fucking pissed right now!!

.. well I don't want my premiums to go up since I pay a fairly low fee for having a spotless driving record. I even waited around for an hr. to see if the person would be dumb enough to park in the spot/area again but no luck.

 

that sucks. now ur rocking a sticker in teh rear and the front now. out tls have all taking damage this winter. nothing but accident and totals. . ill talk to my guy later and tell u the price. im assuming u want it done after winter??

 

Hate to hear that...bastards. The good news on your insurance is that your rates should drop once you hit 26 years old. They really slam it to young guys, and I believe 25 is the cut-off. Shop around as well. The other good news is that with those decals you should gain about 5hp for each one

Did I take some of the other cars paint off??? ..If so, yah.. it was another white vehicle that clipped my car. I was rubbing off white paint from my bumper this morning..

Sucks Brian. Hard to tell in that pic but most of that looks like it would buff off.

 

Try some rubbing compound.. works wonders especially on white cars.

 

the thing is is that he said that it was another white car that hit him. so either his paint got removed completely or the other card primer is on his car.

 

Hard to tell, but the black is either rubber from the other guy's bumper guard, or it rubbed all the paint off ill's bumper cover, exposing the rubber underneath. If it's rubber from the other car, it will buff out.

 

plastic is underneath the paint. bumper is not rubber.

 

Wow, that sucks. Especially on white. But it does look like it'd buff out, most of it. As long as the paint's not cracked...

 

Ouch man. WDP curse is true it seems like. I got bumped in a parking lot and the asshole took off last weekend

 

that sucks; but be happy that it was only the bumper cover (aka comes right off), compared to actual sheet metal on the car body, especially say the quarter panel

A decent person makes the mistake of not using his car to go somewhere,,,that was your mistake-
never take anyones car...leaving your TL parked in unknown territory--it gets scared and attracts unwanted attention of a car looking to cause some trouble

they either didnt know what happened or fled the scene before anyone got their license plate info

How about using reflective tape on the corners of the car? they make it in white..as seen on semi trailers
a nice decal for now- add a redline sticker!

and fyi it's a 11.5" by 3" sticker, so basically a normal bumper sticker size






also by the looks in the picture, it's a good chance it would just be a repaint of the cover, and not actually replacing the cover (i don't see gouges in the plastic and such in it)

 

damn bro, i got a hit and run on me this winter too.. cracked my rear bumper. it was in the parking lot and no one left a note or anything.

 

he told me it has spider cracks or spider web cracks. something light that. hes gonna repaint it, his new rear bumper and rear lip
