Creaking while turning, but only when its hot?
For the last 2 summers my car will creak while turning at slow speeds or accelerating while turning from a stop. The problem completely goes away during the fall and winter. It only happens when temps are over 75 or 80. It seems like a CV axle, but all of my boots are intact and I don't think they are usually effected by temps. Any ideas?

clicking while slow turning at max effort would be cv- open window and test on quiet street
A hill with angle and turn change would put the stress on them too- and be max loading so it would complain
If for some reason the grease itself has quit- and temp can do that along with age,
remove cv boot and ck the grease on bearing-
more than just torn boots will wear out cv--WOT from stopped as an example, turning burnouts...

I remember seeing a similar issue on Nissans years ago.
Try this.....
Gran a can of a good silicone spray lubricant, and shoot some on the radius arm bushings. I've circled the bushings in the diagram below. Barring that, if you can't find the source of the creak, use a really long pry bar, and put it to each suspension component while the other end is to your ear (following safety guidelines, of course).
When you find what's making the noise, it'll be extremely evident. Old mechanic's trick

I mention various cv noises to help others reading this in the future- trying to diagnose

I really thought I was the only one with this problem. Mine is the same, it won't make the noise in the mornings on my way to work, but when I get out at 4pm, it creaks all over the placed. I greased the radius rod bushings and it made no difference. I have new cv axles also. I left my car with firestone all day last Thursday and they couldn't figure it out. I'm starting to wonder if it is from changing my lower ball joint too many times stretching the knuckle fitting. Anyone else have any ideas?
