I just found out that my front driver's side suspension makes a creaking noise when I press down on the driver's door sill. It sounds like an old door hinge that needs oiling.

Is this bad? I'm going to take it to the dealer's as soon as the weather gets better.

 

that's new....hopefully it's not anything serious and the dealer will be able to fix it. Good luck with that, and be sure to post the results.

 

do you think it's probably due to lack of lubricant?

i had squeaking when i would hit something like a speed bump. ended up being a strut. very unilkely that you would have one go bad already, though, seeing as how you have an 02

 

unlikely but not impossible, right?
