If its that big they most likely cant fix it. Ive had nickle sized ones that they repaired and if you didnt know it was there you never would have

Wow, I've had a crack across the entire windshield and I still passed the safety inspection. Safelite will tell you, as long as it's not right in front of the driver, you shouldn't have any problems. I had them replace my windshield, but not repaired.

Check your online "yellow pages". I had a crack on my windshield (on my Jeep) a few years back as big as a "quarter". I called up the mobile service and they got it fixed for around $50.
The fix was really good and you could barely know if crack was there and way cheaper than getting the whole windshield replaced.
Check your local store as well .. there are some windshield could fix it for cheap... depending on how serious is the crack.

Hope this helps.

Once upon a great while ago I worked for safelite. I would trust them with a windshield repair or replacement, but a repair will only make the "bullseye" dissapear 85% of the time and prevent the crack from spreading. The crack won't go away when they repair it. Depending on your insurance deductable you may be able to have it replaced cheep (whatever your comprehensive deductable is). If your deductable ends up being $500 or more you may want to pay put of pocket or just deal with a repair.
By the way, if you ask really nice you can request honda glass insted of aftermarket, and your insurance may pick it up. They wont offer it, but if requested it will be looked into.
