aight guys flame me as much as you want for getting "cheap a$$" obx headers i dun care.

i just wanna know if it's really hard to fix a small crack like shown on the pic (they are new on the pic, it's just to show you where the crack is)...

i guess a simple welding will do da trick uh

ill get them welded when i put on my exhaust system..


and i just hope the welding lasts all summer long... then ill try to save up for CT headers in May 2005 (storing my car next winter)

im tired of saving up for car stuff

don't worry bro.... i'm there with you.... my sh!t cracked after a year. i wouldn't recommend welding that joint...cause it will crack again but bigger...tried and failed

i think i'm convinced not to get the obx headers, the comptech seem really expensive, over twice as much. what about these stone headers, can't even find them on the web. whats a guy to do. in your opinion is it worth getting the ct headers for $1,100 bucks? where can i find the stone header sight, & why are these headers the sh!t. need help in making a decision thanks

regardless, im still gettin the OBX cause the comptech isnt worth the $$$ IMO for the gains... even is if had to replace the OBX headers TWICE because defect and i got screwed, id still be ahead....

so far so good! the extra work porting and doing some slight mods was fun, and worth it. i got the obx's because they are the same exact design as the v-6 comptech, and mainly they clear my nuespeed lower front tie bar, which the comptechs won't! i don't know if the stone headers will clear the tie bar? anyone know?, but i wouldn't want to sacrifice one mod for another. i also haven't experienced the " header harmonic" w/ obx. w/ lowered vtec, cold air intake, magnaflow catback you won't hear it. and when i drive normally w/ no stereo on, i don't hear anything other than prrrrrrrrrrr!
