Cost of 90K service

Today the Acura dealership in Cincinnati asked $1500 for the 90K service is that sounds reasonable??

Well, you need to know what they're including. If it's just the timing belt (water pump, timing belt, tensioner, cam gaskets) then it's quite high. If it includes other things like plugs etc., then it may not be too bad.

Ask for more details.

what a 90k? did they give a detailed list? or just try to get the last of the month commission in?

7 years/105 is the timing belt- water pump- valve adjustment service and that will cost 1500 at the dealer

Their $1500 service would include:

plugs, engine and cabin airfilters, waterpump,t-belt,other belts, vacuumand wash. New coolant was included in my service.

However, I did the plugs/filters myself, and found a new Honda dealership offering t-belt special, $389.

We added in another two parts, +$212, and a little brake stuff. $819 total, including New Jersey taxes.

diy cabin filter--dealer gets 1.5 hours for a 20 minute job!!! part 17-20 dollars for pair of filters (in 1 box) with charcoal or anti-microbe stuff added

they drained the coolant to change the water pump- everyone gets new coolant!!

always add the tbelt tensioner and roller pullies, and ac tensioner may be on the way out- listen to it,
shops dont quote tensioners to keep price low, and dont care that it will fail in 30kmiles -destroying your engine!!
if it rotates or carries a belt its critical!! replace now-- its never going to last another 105~~
