I know allot of you guys don't have stock TL's in here but I do. I have noticed that when I am driving my car and a cop gets next to me he doesn't even think of looking at my car. I bought the car used at the dealer and they posted the temporary tag on the front window of the car so my license plate looks like it had expired tags but the cops don't even bother looking. Also my windows are tinted so I know they couldn’t see the temporary tags on the front window but they don't even give me a second look. I don’t even have a front license plate. I think it is because they think it's an old mans car and what old man would break the law? Did anyone else experience this or is it just the San Diego police department?

i noticed that my car is hooked up, and everytime i see a TL i speed up to bust hid d%ck, and i notice and old as fart driving it, or even a male or female in there mid 40's not even giving me a first look, screw the second look lol... THAT PISSES ME OFF...
i doubt they even notice the inspire, they either
A)think it's just a newer TL or
B)don't even realize mine is white and they have orange

so screw the cops,why can't an average tl owner sweat my shit??????

On my way home today, a cop was trailing me for about 10 minutes just waiting for me to do something. I just have tints and a spoiler.

Also, when I first got my TL, I had a lot of people say that it was an old man's car. I was pretty pissed.

Why? Did you mod your car to look the way it does for yourself or for others? If they all looked over and said, "what ugly tail lights", would you take them off?

Personally I can't stand clear tail lights; at stop lights it makes the car look like it's in reverse.

does the car look in reverse also when it's at a red light? or only at a stop light? i'm pretty sure when it's in reverse two little dimmed white lights light up...
btw... that question/statement was rather dumb i thought... considering we mod our car for ourselves mostly, and for others to enjoy and see as well... if not, than why even bother posting up pics... if you do it only for yourself, why share w/others what you got????????
i hook my car up cause i enjoy doing it, i enjoy seeing the outcome, and i enjoy the good and learn from the bad comments i recieve.
i believe many love the cleared out lights... if not, i doubt MB, BMW, LEXUS, ACURA, INFINITI, HONDA, HUNDAI, MAZDA, etc. would bother putting them in their new line of cars...
but that's just my opinion,
