I replaced my coolant senor on my 1999 Acura TL and the tempature gauge stays the cool when I'm going over 45mph, but when I am going under 40mph it goes up as it is over heating, and it is eating up the coolant rather quickly

 

You sir have a leak.. either that or may be head gasket.


What does your oil look like.
