I never done it, but if you want to feel the real power of your tl, then yes! But thats just my opinion

Oh and the standerd trans is way more reliable then the auto!

If you want to get the most out of any engine, a manual transmission will do just that. Our should ask yourself if YOU think it's worth it.

Yeah, the jury is in !
If your present tranny is nearing death, by all means consider the CLS 6 spd.
It'll be money and effort well spent, as you'll get improved driving performance along with durability.

Short of the '06/'07 Accord 5 spd AT swap, it's the best overall bang for the buck. Start your search today for a good low mileage CL stick !

If you daily drive it in stop and go traffic. Save yourself the hassle and stay auto.

Is it better for the dealer ship to do this, or a speed shop??

It's wrong, just wrong to see a dealer for anything that isn't warranty, but they wouldn't take on a job like this. Either yourself or a speed shop should do it.

That may be your personal opinion, but not everyones. I have no problem driving mine all day long and its manual, i put on over 50k miles a year, and my office is my car, so im in it all day with nothing but stop and go. My only regret is not doing it years sooner.

If you have to pay a shop to do it save your money, sell your car and buy a car with a manual because it will drastically up the price of the conversion.

Doesn't seem right in this car IMO. I don't have a problem with driving a manual in stop and go traffic. My prelude got 50k put on it the first year I had it. Half of that and all through last year was on a 6 puck stage 3. Talk about pita.
