Considering Springs

I've got a co-worker who says he can install springs for me (did it on another guy's CL) for the price of lunch. I'm not sure which springs to get. I don't want the tire rubbing the wheel well look, but I do think the car could sit a little lower. This site says the comptech springs will drop you 1.75/1.5 (f/r), but comptech's site says the same springs drop you 1.25/1.0.

Which is it?

Also:

Is there a better alternative?

Are there any possible repercussions?

Thanks

it will take a few hours with proper mechanics tools and in a shop on a hoist (mine took 2.5 hours last week at a shop). So if he says he'll do it for the cost of lunch, find out how big this guy thinks lunch is? because it s not at all a DIY job, you'll NEED to rent a spring compressor. With some trucks you can put a jack under the axle and lower it and raise it with a jack, but that aint happening on a TL.
