I want my TL-S to be F-A-S-T. I've heard that if I installed ComTech headers, HP would increase by a LOT!!. there's even some NEW headers coming out for the type S that will increase HP by even more...like 60-90HP???

Anyway, can dealers obtain and install these ComTech headers?
Do having them installed void the Acura warranty?

How much (ballpark) do they cost + installation?
How exactly do they work?

No, no, no, no no.

First, it's CompTech.

No header on a street car is going to give you that kind of power increase. The CL-S header gives a 32HP bump, all of it in the higher RPM range. It will help acceleration a bit, but is more a horsepower and top end benefit. If you race your car at high speeds, it is a real benefit.

Go to www.comptechusa.com and review the facts - they have dyno charts for the CL-S that should give you an idea of what to expect. Focus on where the power is produced and base your expectations accordingly.

I dont think anyone can definitively answer that yet, but they are the same exact engine, and I would assume so.
