Installed my icebox on my 2000 TL yesterday. It was simple and easy up until I had to screw the bottom half of the main box down. For some reason If the bottom screw was in and the bracket screws, the bottome half would sit UNDER the HID cap cover. Then when you try to put the upper half of the filter box, it would not fit because of the cover. Now it is sitting there uncrewed. Did a search and can't find details on this, just mentions of the problem. Does anyone know what the deal is? I re routed the wires there as per the instructions. Please help me out. I dont know if this applies for 2002-2003 since they have different headlights.

 

I've got a 99 and had a similar problem. Contact Comptech and they have a solution for you. I drove mine over to Comptech so they could custom fit the lid on mine. At that time, they made a duplicate as a template.

 

I was planning on getting the Icebox but it seems that it doesn't fit???
