Comptech header install now Rough vibration

Hey guys, I got done installing my comptech headers today. Wow what a job..took me 4 hours. Anyways it's all done and everything is down tight, but I have this sort of growl from the 2-3K rpm range. I'm not sure if its a growl or just a rough feeling in the engine. It's almost like a vibration coming up through the whole car. The engine was always smooth as butter before. It wasn't there before. Is that normal or did I miss something? I haven't road tested it yet, just sat in the driveway and gassed it a few times up to 4K. Ideas or suggestions guys?
Thanks,

Check so see if maybe the O2 sensor is rattling against the tranny case first, my best guess. Good luck. Make sure all bolts are tight.

yeah been over it again, it's perfectly smooth at idle no noise whatsoever, after about 5 minutes of running the front header began to smoke I guess it was burning off machine oil, they are brand new..I didn't pay much attention to it. but around 2-3K rpm's the engine gets rough..well not really rough just like it's a big old V8 instead of a smooth acura v6 that it used to feel like. it's throathy feeling coming up through the gas pedal.

the smoking header is from the oil & dirt from your hands mine did the same thing. Those babies put out some heat. I was a little concerned about the front header being so close to the plastic parts, with no heat shield, but i've had them on for about 3 months don't see any meltage, thank god.

I just checked out the O2 it has plenty of room to move around. The only time I hear this noise is from the 1-2K rpm range, it's like some sort is resonance is coming up out of the headers. Only when the car is in gear, and in motion at around 30mph in 5th gear.

I believe that the resonance is a normal sound. I have heard a bunch of TL's that have headers, and you will definitely hear them...but the upside is they do produce a lot more horsepower...
