Comptech B-Pipe Upgrade
Wassup Fellow TL-Drivers:
I'm currently using the Comptech Axel-Back Exhausts for my 2000 TL-P. I noticed there is a B-Pipe upgrade that is available for the Type-S model on the Comptech website. I want to ask you guys that will the Comptech B-Pipe fit my 2000 TL? Do I need to do any modifications on the piping?
My second question is I'm planning on purchasing an AEM Pulley Kit for my car. Will it be hard to replace the stock ones? Normally, what are the modification process to replace the stock ones (how long will it take) and how much do they charge for installation. Thanks!

Well I have a 2003 TL-p and ordered the b-pipe for my car when it was on the store on this site for the except type s. I had to return it when it didnt mount to the cat. Long story short no matter what anyone tells you it will not fit. the flange holes will not line up. Unless you have a type S cat. converter. The store off this site took it off this site after that.

Comptech B-Pipe Upgrade
Hey nucleusTL,
Then I would like to know is there a Comptech B-Pipe that would fit my 2000 TL-P? I checked out the Comptech website, there's only the Type-S model available. Then, I checked out this site and autocarparts.com and I think they have one available for the non Type-S model. What's going on? I'm confused here. Oh yes, I recently went to a shop and they told me they have available for my car, I wasn't sure about it and that is why I have been holding back on purchasing it or not and I want to know if they were just trying to make money off of me. Please help.

if you are changing your pullies in the hopes of gaining more power you arent gonna get that from AEM... you might want to look at the UR set.. actually u only need the crank pulley to give u a boost in power....

*over, but a steal at that price*
and there are many more there but you just need to keep an eye out for them. Keep in mind that a AV6 98-02 exhaust will fit our cars if you have a tl-p... have fun.

@ slide or die @
those are some sick prices for those VERY NICE EXHAUSTS!!! add $70 for shippin and its amod that could take you 1hour!!
But, are you 100% sure than the AV6 exhaust has the same mapping for a TL-p? heh, i'm all against loud muffler because of what it costs per hp, but i am SO INTERESTED now...heh thanks...
--notice our OBX headers are for an AV6 too--
