yes it has been done - Acura did it in the manual - don't you have a copy of the scheduled maintenance? other items are on an as needed basis. good luck with automobile ownership.

Check the owners manual. If you dont have it, go to owners.acura.com and download and while youre there register as new owner and it will tell you about the recalls on your car and if theyve been taken care of or not.

As new owner its good to change all fluids, belts, hoses.

Do you know any of the vehic's history?
Timing belt, spark plugs,trans issues?

Thats what I would do.

I should have typed change the belts and hoses as needed. Its always a good idea to do the fluids so you know their state.

Thank you for that website. I'm definitely going to register as a new owner. I bought the car used from an Infiniti dealership and don't know much on the cars history. But Thank you for the info and I'll check all of that out.

Welcome to Azine too. What year and miles are you? Looking to get modded? I see youve been here since '08. Had your eye on her for a while huh?

Oh no. I have had it for awhile. Bought it in December '07. I'm just having alot of problems mounting that I need to take care of. Just tight on cash right now.

-A/C went out (which is a major problem in Houston,TX)
-Power Steering out
-Motor Mounts need to all be replaced
-All my belts need to be replaced
-My rearview mirror exploded and needed to be replaced.

I figure all of that stuff will cost me about $2,000 and I wanted to try and fix some of the things myself but I really don't know if I would be able to pull it off.

We have regional groups on the main page. Some ziners that live close to you may be able to give you some assistance. And theres lots to be learned here. Ive learned everything i know about the TL's from here.

Most info you need can be found in the search or by google-ing. This knowledge base is incredible.

You can do all the work yourself if you at least know your way around the tools. Alot of the basics are in the DIY list.

GL with everything!
