I'm looking for a compass for my old man's TL-S. Does anyone know of any mirror replacements that incorporate a compass, but retain the autodim and factory mounting?

Alternatively, anyone got any suggestions for an separate compass? Not looking for nav package or GPS, just a simple directional indicator that fits well with the factory finish.

2003 Accord and Pilot offer an auto-dim mirror with the compass built in. maybe this would work? the compass indicator is a bright green LCD. don't know if you would want to mod that to gold some how....

I saw the auto-dim mirror with compass in a commercial page in Autoweek magazine as well as Car-And-Driver. Pick up a magazine at any news stand and you might save some money instead of buying it through a Honda dealer.

That ones not as cool as the ones I have seen.. I have seen the compass and temp. built into the glass.. ITS A LOT COOLER than having it underneath..

Thanks a bunch guys, that's been very helpful. I think I'll look into the Accord mirror option since none of the rest seem like they'll be that clean when installed.

Just so y'all know.. Donnelly makes the stock mirror on the TL.. I know because I looked on the back of mine and there was the Donnelly logo..... my auto dim liquid has ruptured and there's a big bubble in my rear view.. I briefly thought about getting it replaced but it's so expensive I said "Forget It" !
