this sux...they dont have the arthracite mettalic color for type s. it is such a rare color. i cant recall seing one. hehe if anybody has one, please post pictures (obviously your car wont be type s but i still want to see the color)

 

Man that color is sweet. They had a TL-P on the lot when I was at the dealer. I said, "If you have the TL-S in that color, I'm sold!" Well, of course they do not. Man the color just looks classy. Nice set of Racing Harts, and that would be a very clean ride. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this.

yeah, when I ordered my car back in January...Dealers have no clue what color will be available...so naturally I ordered that Anthracite...it was like a month later I saw the chart of colors than I realized that Type-S won't be offered in that color. Then I was undecided on which to pick until the day of delivery...

 

My friend (who happens to work with me) just bought the TL-P in Anthracite. They also just tinted the windows 35%. Man, what a sweet ride. It's a shame they didn't offer that for the Type-S, but that's OK b/c I love my blue!!

 

Is that the grey-ish blue? If it is, it is a great color! A co worker of mine just bought one and I really like it.

 

Can anyone tell me where to find a picture of this TL-P I've heard so much of. And how is it different from a TL and Type S?

I loved the anthracity, but for some stupid reason they didn't offer it yet on the TL-S. I'm sure they have their reason. I, like this guy, chose silver.

 

TL-P is just a regular TL

 

I wanted my TL Type S to be Aegean Blue but they didn't have any on the car lot here in Atlanta at the time with the Navigation System, i'm a big fan of blue its my favorite color and the Aegean Blue is the Sweetest color you can get the TL S in i just settled on Nighthawk black i already had a black GS400 so i thought it would be sweet to have two black cars in my drive way three including my wifes Grand Cherokee. But i couldn't wait for the new shipment to come in so i jumped on a black one.

 

So what does the "P" stand for: plain?

Where did you get your TL. Last July I darted around atl hunting and could not get a good price, ended up in Athens with a killer price.

I am almost in the market to now sell that TL and look towards the 6-speed in the future. If I don't hold out, I'll get an 02 TL-S. Just wondering what you got and what you paid. I do want Nav this time around.
