wow... we all know what asloudasitgets favorite four letter word is hehehe j/k j/k... I've got an NBP cls... it's a pain to keep clean... go for the anthracite it's a nice color... I wash my car pretty often (once a week) and detail it all up... it usually sits under a car cover when I park to go to school or park at my apartment since I don't have covered/garage parking here... I liked the black CLS with the black headlights the new '03s come with so I got it... I wish Iwoulda gotten the anthracite or silver sometimes b/c trhey're much easier to care for...

Anthracite is a HOT color... and was my second choice behind the Agean Blue.
Like the others said... black it HOT when clean.... but almost all of the black TL's I see on the road are dirty, so it's hard to tell

I have a NBP TL-S, and after only 3000 miles I have managed to collect several small scratches which are plainly visible. The finish doesn't seem as durable as my previous black car ('89 Accord coupe, which I sold in '98). Kinda wish I'd gotten SSM (although I like the parchment interior better than ebony - no bowling ball trim).

I have a NBP TLS and I love it. It is hard to keep clean, but if you have a garage and have the dedication with cleaning there is absolutly nothing that looks better. It's awesome under a clear blue sky on a nice day. Makes all the work worth it. I am on my third black Acura....wouldn't have any other color.
BTW...if you do get black...get some quality quick detailer....griots sells one that's good...pinacle also has one...heck everyone make it now...and use it often.....every time the car just starts to get dusty use it.....you will be surprized at how little time it takes to keep the car looking great. After any rain you must wash it...that's the downside. I never drive my car in the rain...ever. Get a $300 junker for rain and snow and keep the black car in the garage.

I have silver and when dirty it looks fine, problem is that when it is clean and freshly waxed it looks about the same as when it was dirty. The anthracite really does look good, you should check it out.
Black will show every bit of dirt and rain drop.

I say get a WHITE DIAMOND PEARL!!! Like mines...hahaha your decision but that Anthracite is nice though...I'm not lying so is the black and Aegean blue...all nice colors but all hard to maintain..I had a Black Currant Pearl Accord and it was a pain, so that is why I decided to get a white car...All good choices..

I wanted black at first until I remembered how hard my black integra was to keep clean. I have ABP witch isn't much better but if you got the time to wash it every week go for it. Nothing looks better than a shiny black TL with tinted windows and those shiny chrome door handles. On the down side if you plan on a body kit the OEM is hard to notice at night.

I have a 2003 3.2TL-S with Navi in Anthracite Metallic. I love the color. There are many TL's in Silver [also a great color], but there are far fewer in Anthracite, which really stands out. You can get an idea of how your car will look by logging onto acura.com, building your vehicle and selecting the Anthracite Metallic as your color. Then right click on the photo and save it as a file and then open the file and enlarge it. Nighthawk Black Pearl is great too, but keeping it clean will be a lot more difficult that the Anthracite Metallic.

Getting a new TLS with NAVI in the Anthricite maybe diffcult as no dealer in a 75 mile radius to me has one, I don't even thiink any have a non-navi tls in anthricite. But all this talk of the anthricite has made me want to look into a lot more, I like the silver but it's so common, but I may have to settle for it...

Thanks for the advice and pics guys, I decided to go with a CLS w/Navi in anthracite. I originally was'nt considering a CL but the car just looks really good in the Anthrocite with a spoiler, so I decided to go with it. Unfotunatley finding a CLS w/Navi in anthrocite was not possible, so I had to have the dealer order the car for me, it won't be here till like dec..Which sucks, but I'v waited this long a little longer won't matter...
