Unhappy Coin mishape

Okay...heres wt my dumbass did. I usually keep my spare change in the little area between the seat heater buttons (99 TL). I had decided to clean everything up and get rid of the coins, then I saw that there was a gap in the back part of that area. So being stupid I decided to pull on it to see if it came off...without removing the coins As soon as I realized that it does come off! I tried to put it back in place as I had only nudged if off a bit...but the coins had already started falling.

Does anyone know how to get at the coins? What is exactly behind that area I hope it doesnt screw something up?

Thanks

if you want all that change back, good luck. I was working on a project once in the center area around there. some of the change i retrieved was only accessible after i had the whole thing stripped away. Some ziners have found change that worked its way under the carpeting(not the mats) almost to the doors. quite a bit of it too.

There isn't really too much the change can hurt back there, but good luck getting it back. Try pulling off the wood grain panels, then the plastic panel on each side of the CD player. You should be able to see a little bit in there and you can even pull back the carpet some to get under it.

03s arent there.

Only way to retrieve the coins are to take the center console apart and hand pick them out. The only thing they could do is interfere with the shifter cable and rattle.

Can't you pick up canadian coins with a magnet?

Maybe one of those magnets on a flexible rod that tech use to get tools, bolts, and screws that fell into the engine bay.

LOL i remember when i saw my carpet ripped apart for my swap! I asked what happened to all the coins on the floor, and you know what they showed me? a 12 ounce styrofoam cup filled 1/2 way up with quarters nickels dimes and pennies. poured them out and counted 17.34 including 2 x dollar coins that happened to be in there. lol
