Hi,
My Coin Box will not go up all the way, it is stuck it the middle. I do notknow why. Is there a way that I can remove the box and fix this problem before I bring it to the dealer. Mine is a 99 TL.

I had the same problem...mine was because a couple of quarters got stuck behind the box and wouldn't allow it to fully close. It took me a while to get them out, but I didn't remove the box itself. What I did first was remove the red coin insert and then removed the cover that is between the heated seat buttons and in front of the computer port. Once that was out, I banged the side of the console by the coin box until I saw the coins lodged in behind. I then used a screw driver to move the coins out. Some fell and are somewhere in the console, but they don't make any noise, so I'm not worried. I would have preferred to remove the box as you want to, but I wasn't sure how to do it. You can do what I did and see if it works, if not, hopefully somebody here can explain how the coin box come out. Good luck.

Yeah.... don't put too much coins there.

I had a problem too. I took it to my dealer and had it fixed under warrentee. No coins behind just broke.

I think there's a TSB on this. Have your dealership update your 99. My local dealership did.
