coin behind the coin tray.
i got a coin stuck behind the cointray box.
it won't close.
i have to take it apart to fix this!....
????
has this happened to anyone else?..

Yep.... I had to bring it to the dealer because they said you have to take part of the console apart to get the tray/coin out.... The “This Is Not An Ashtray” is not the best designed component of our car…

need a DIY on center console.
it looks like i can get the center part out.
but it seems to clipped down..didn't want to just rip it out.
and i couldn't get the shifter plate off.
damn.

Happened to me a while back now I don't put change in there.
What I did was work the tray back-n-forth and the coins might fall down behind the tray then take out the little platic cover off below the tray and get in there witha pen or something like athat and remove the coin.
