my friend has a 98 v8 jeep with exhaust, and intake with a FAT filter. he said that he timed it and it was 6.8 0-60. and i drove it, slow from the start, but once u hit thirty, its OUT. i raced him twice 060 in my TLp. Tie first time, i got a better start, but he gained on me, then it was even by 60. second time i had him by maybe a car legnth. i know this isnt much to say, but dont think twice ab these Jeeps.

 

well it's a v8, what else can you say unless the car manufacturer really do something stupid about the v8 engine it's always gonna give a good run

 

V8s always pull on V6s after you get going.

 

I will race anything up to around 10+ the speed limit. Its not worth the ticket, you get the satisfaction though , you win! Nothing like an idiot blazin past you at 70mph in a 45. (a nice tap on the brakes when you're ahead shows you win IMO)

 

there was an explorer at the track over christmas break running 14.1's. v-8 every bolt on and "a little shot" of nitrous.

 

Yep those V8 garand Cherokees can hit 60mph in 7.0 or less. we ran one in my friends 95 300zx 5spd and that jeep was on our side up to 50.:wow:
