Climate Control Vent selection question
This is not a big problem, just a minor annoyance...
When using the heater, the default setting for the vents seems to be splitting the air between the windshield defrost vents and the floor vents.
Default as in that is mode it will be in everytime you turn on the heater until/unless you use the Mode switch to change it.
That may be a pretty choice of modes for a cold, humid rainy day, but 98% of the time the inside of my windshield is NOT foggy, and I like the vents to be set either to all dashboard vents or split between the floor and dash vents. It just seems like it warms up the car faster and maintains the temp better in that mode.
Now I know if I turn off the ignition switch and leave the climate control turned on where I had it, the vent mode will stay set like I had it. But when the engine is cold, I don't like it blowing cold air upon start up.
Is there some trick you use to make it stay set to dash vents without having to reset the Mode switch everytime??
