okay this is very weird and i dont know what has gong wrong.
i had a clifford alarm on my car since ive had it. trunk release always worked with no problem (with the clifford remote and the factory remote) i always used the clifford remote.


fast forward 5 years later trunk release doesnt work with either clifford remote anymore. (i changed the battery thinking that would fix it but it didnt)

NOW i have 2 remotes on my keys. the factory remote that i use when i need my trunk opened and the clifford remote.


my question is what the heck could be stoppping the trunk from open with the clifford remotes

does it still open with the buttom on the door.....if yes than the relay most likely went bad.....or the transponder went bad

it opens with thr regular acura remote and it opens with the button on the bottom of the door

is the transponder or relay in the clifford remote.?

well i meant the relay from the alarm to the car....but its most likely just that the remote is 5 year old and its time for it to break, go to a shop and see how much for a new one......if you have the clifford remote thats a pager......expect to pay about 100.....
