Clicking from the rear when braking
I've been getting this clicking from the rear when I brake. I only tend to hear it when I'm braking right before I stop, and the speed of the clicking slows down as I slow down.
Just wondering if anyone has had this problem before. I'm prepared to swap out the rear rotors and pads if it will fix the problem, but I wanted to get your thoughts on things.
BTW, it's 2003 TL-S w/ 93K kms and I'm not sure if the rear discs / pads have ever been changed.

at that Kms I would be ready for rear brakes
rotors are really cheap for the back, and many performance pads under 60$
I would say USD but your money is worth more than ours now
There are metal tabs attached to the pad that touch the rotor when brakes get low- they touch the pad and usually squeal-- that means its time for brakes
Have them checked and buy your parts

Thanks 01tl4tl. Yeah, I'm hoping it's just the rear brakes and not something else (of course, with my luck...).
Oddly enough, when I checked on pricing for brembo blanks for the rears, they were more expensive than the fronts...? The guy said it's due to production volumes, but I don't know. i guess it could be, but not sure.
Guess I'll shop around...

jack up the car take the wheel off and see if you can see anything wrong or what the pads look like. I would inspect things before buying things. It may be a loose bolt of pad spring that broke??
