Easy guys, as you can see str8acura is a newbie (only 3 posts) let's try to be a little helpful. mmmmmkay?

from what I'm hearing, the OVEN technique seems to work the best. I think it's something like:
1. stick headlight in oven at 200 degrees for 12 mins
2. remove from oven, push headlight tabs
3. cut along seal very carefully while pulling apart HL
4. once open remove reflector
5. reseal headlight w/new sealant or re-heat factory seal
(if you use new sealant you should remove all of the factory sealant first)
6. WEAR latex gloves because if you touch the inner chrome casing you're gonna leave ugly fingerprints.
anyway....this is just an overview, the search should help you find the exact directions.

Actually, the guys here in SoCal are not adding any new sealant at all. They are reheating the original sealant, then recompressing the headlight back together. So far, so good. No fogging or leaks anywhere. Bathroom tested and multiple washing tested. AND it looks amazing. :wow:
