lights look tight man but the grill is a little odd looking. did you paint it or something. sorry if i missed that. maybe if you left the A and the chrome circle around it it would look good. this way looks empty or something.

for the blow dryer method did you use just a regular blow dryer or did you buy one of those heat guns?

and for the emblem you should get some black chrome ones

I am in the process of doing this to my car right now but after I finished taping all the chrome off for the blinker light I noticed it was pulling the chrome off with the tape. It only did it to one light which I had replaced at the Acura dealership a year ago due to moisture in the lens which in turn blew the hid.

I will be painting it black and now I will be painting the complete piece black and was wondering if anyone has done this yet and how it looked. I am working on an 03 TL-S and hope it don't look too bad...

you are supposed to use painters tape to prevent the chrome from peeiling off. be sur ento to paint over the reflector that goes behind your headlight

I used painters tape but it still took the chrome off with it, but only on the light I had replaced by the dealer last year. It didn't touch the chrome on the original head light.

Now I have to paint behind the amber bulb, not the headlights and I wanted to see if this has been done yet or if I am going to be the guniea pig for this.
phee- your car looks awesome after you did it and I figured since I had to take mine apart due to condensation I would try it also.

After 3 days of wet weather, this morning I was finally able to finish this and put it all back together. I think it looks awesome painted black behind the amber bulb. Now that it is all done and since I do live in Florida, I give in about an hour until I know if the glue sealed itself or not...
Phee-thanks for the write it, I planned on just fixing the condensation from one light to changing the whole look and attitude of the car!

HOTT!! Everyday it is SUPPOSED to rain, but everyday I do not seen any. This morning the weatherman said we were going to have some sever storms in our area but all I have is a hott @$$ sun with a ton of heat... no rain. So, don't get your hopes down if you hear it is going to rain because our weathermen are only right when a hurricane is coming.

i used the dremel to grind down the center of the hex safety screw. but if you have the tool, you dont need a dremel
