Clearing Headlight Response
Hey guys... I cleared my headlights today...
I wish i did NOT do it...
there is some kind of marks inside my chrome housing, light blemish and I do not want to go through melting and heating in the oven again...
the MOST thing that PISSED me off...
you know that paperclip-like pin that holds the HID bulb in? I COULDNT FIGURE IT OUT FOR 2 and HALF HOURS!!! (sorry for caps.. just venting)
another thing is that my headlights are not properly aligned... there is a gap between headlights and body... w0rd..
k.. too sleepy to work on it, i'll finish it tomorrow and get some pics for you guys....
peace
(btw, did anyone else have a problem with that pin made by STUPID RETARD ACURA ENGINEERS? )

I've considered it, but intead of going throught the hassle, or maybe even hassled from law enforcements, I've deceided to keep them stock. Just a thought, even the JDM Inspire or Saber has that little amber lens.

ok, so i put my mouth and eyes back on...
it was worth it kinda... but MAKE SURE
i repeat MAKE SURE (no body emphasized this in their tutorials)
MAKE SURE YOU KNOW, godsake, take pictures of the HID CLIPS that hold them in place... it took me total 4 hours, i put it in the wrong way, then the bulb just fell out of its place...
i have to reopen it now because the bulb is seated the wrong way, (the black painted part is faced up)

Johnny, he put the headlights in the oven. You probably used a heat gun, but it's still wise to remove everything from the lights before working on it.
anyway. I find it funny how you can't figure out how to remove that tiny clip. hehehehe. Sorry. All you do is remove the socket base for the bulb (twist to the left), and push the clip down and to the left....., then lightbulb comes out. how hard is that?
Also, the gaps have to do with your re-installation. apparently, you didn't put it back correctly.

I put the yellow film on the fog lights, once I do the foglight mod this week I'm sure that the front will look good with the parking lights and the fog lights on. So, I'm not clearing my headlights....otherwise I'd have to spend money to do a foglight HID conversion and I would like to save up for springs and shocks
I say both of the combinations look good.

by the way, i did yellow fog mod with the tint, and I had it for about a month, the tint turned gay and homo (water streaks, pebble marks, rips/tears)
plus it looks gay during the day, at night its a whole different story, so im tring to lookinto 1500 degree paint for my fogs or possibly try the alternate crap shoot ION Yellow fogs...
perhaps...
