Clear headlights and Corner bulbs

What's up guys, almost done with my new project car and have some questions for the finishin touches.

For those of you with cleared headlights, which make of "chrome/amber" corner bulbs, give you the best light output? By chrome I mean those bulbs that are coated chrome, but blink or have amber light output.

1. 1156 By APC
2. 1156 By Pilot
3. 1156 By Polarg
4. 1156 Other?

Thanks guys!

Sorry to jack your thread, but isn't it supposed to be 1157 for the corner bulbs? I ask this because I'm also looking to buy a couple. Thanks.

It's 1156 or 1157 one of two. I know for fact we don't use 194 bulb. The 115.. 6/7 does both parked light an turn signal.

1157 for Turn Signal Bulbs... I have the Silvania Silverstars and love them. I have had Silverstars in my last three cars and have never had an issue. They have more of a blueish/chrome tint but have excellent light output. One of the best out there. They will run you about $20 for a set.

interesting pdf...page 22 talks about clear corners and says this:

Clear “tail” - missing red side and red rear reflectors. The plastic does not need to be the color of the emitted light, but a tail and stop must emit red light, and a turn, red or amber.
so i'm taking this as you can have clear corners, they just have to emit an amber or red light....i was planning on clearing my turn signals this weekend and was curious as to whether anyone on here has gotten in trouble with any type of law enforcement for having clear corners...

I want to say that pretty much all chrome-amber bulbs would have a less light output compared to regular amber bulbs. I picked up my generic pair from autolumination and they've work just fine for the past year or so. If you dig the silvery-pearl/rainbow look of the silverstars, they are a great alternative as well.

Thanks for that feedback brother... that is what I was looking for! Once my car is done with the major stuff, I will go out for a photo shoot and post some pictures.
