clear CLEAR tails

Again, I was the master of creation with some inspiration...
You use a dremel and cut a hole in the top of the housing and then you pull the clear thing out. Then use some chrome tape to cover the hole that you just cut out.
It does look very smooth across the back

are you talking about that clear square box inside the signal of the 02 tails?
wouldnt the amber bulb(if using amber) show more then?
i was thinking of doing this too long time ago...i think it would look cleaner

Yeah he's gotta be talking about the frosted plastic wedge that hides the orange blinker bulb.
I guess if you have illegal clear bulbs it would look good.

I did this same exact mod to my 96 Accord a few years ago as it had an amber piece inside the tails which I wanted to remove.
Instead of cutting the housing and damaging them though, break up the inner reflector using a soldering iron, cutting snips, and needle nose pliers. Then you can pull the pieces right out of the bulbs openings with no damage to the housings at all, and no worry at all about condensation.

Also see "candian" for an awesome projector project we did.
How we did it:
I drilled out the two clips that hold in the frosted part. On the back of the housing.
Then used a dremel to cut a hole in the top of the housing and then boba pulled out the frosted part.
Then covered the hole with chrome tape and your done
Thge crome tape is used for heating and cooling duct work. You can get it a Home Depot or Lowes. About 6$ or 7$ for a roll.

No, the tape is just used to cover the hole that we dremel to take out the blocker thing. Basically instead of putting the part of plastic we cut out back in we cover it with tape instead.
The tape should be wide enough to cover the front orange part, but the tape is not 100% reflective. But since you really can't see the top inside your headlights it does not matter.
I can also clear headlights if you wanted
