Clear or blacked out

I have a NBP TL-S and this weekend im going to clear the headlights and maybe black them out. What does everyone think would look better on my black car. Blacked out and clear or just cleared out?

just wipe the chrome piece with a cloth to remove dust or anything and then just spay it. Just make sure you make sure it is totally dry before putting the headlights back together.

edit: Oh and the one thing you must do when you finish is Take and Post pictures.

i heard the best black paint to use was the bbq paint u can buy at autozone/pepboys etc b/c it has a 1200 temp withstand. do i need to add a clear coat spray or anything like that or is the black paint good enough.

I would clear and black them out. Instead of using regular black paint, try the testors black pearl paint #1813. At least that's what i'm doing to mine. That and using clear diffusers.

You can get it at walmart or any hobby shop. You don't need high temp paint for your headlights.

yea use a reflective black paint or a clearcoat afterwards. black or clear either way you cant lose. lol Acura gave me an impala as a rental before, it actually has way more room in it, then again its slow and heavy.

In all honesty that may look better than being blacked-out.

no. it doesnt get hot enough to do any thing. to the paint (a car sitting baking in the sun gets hotter) paint is stronger than most think. regular paint can be painted on a engine and withstand those temps.
