I think the best product to use is Swifters, or Pledge "Grab Its". They are what you use to clean floors and furniture. I keep a small plastic package in the glove box. They work great to clean your interior of dust and not leave that cheezy shiny film on everything. They don't clean stains, and don't protect against UV rays though. You need a NON GLOSSY protectant to do that. Turtle Wax and ArmorAll make one. But for dust, Swifters and GrabIts work best.
I usually clean at a stoplight when I can. It takes no time.
Good luck.

I use Swifters as well.
For protectant I use 303 Protectant. It's available at any marine supply store and some auto parts stores. It leaves a nice matte finish, but the key is it has UV protection in it, to keep your dash from cracking.

what do you guys use to clean your carpet, like what kind of carpet shampoo? i have these ugly black spots on my floor mats and would really like to get them out. Oh yeah and on the felt for the top fo the car, stupid Acura mechanics and their dirty hands. I have like finger prints everywhere by the windshield and stuff. Any suggestions on how to take those off?

I use diluted Simple Green. Use a soft brush for deep stains. I also use it for cleaning the wheel wells. I usually just spray it on full strength, let it sit a minute and spray it off. You would be amazed at how much dirt washes off..

Thanks for the info.
I use Mother's protectant for dash stuff. I also don't like these things leaving things too shiny. So what i do, is spray this stuff, wipe it on, then use a dry clean cloth to "buff'" the shine out to the level that looks good. You still have the stuff protecting the dash, and it has a nicer looking non-greasy, "matte" type finish on the dash....so just buff it out to how you like it....
