Question Cleaning exhaust?

What do you guys use to clean the exhausts? I'm thinking of using the stainless steel cleaner that we have around the house. The brand is Zep and we use it to clean the refrigerator and other stainless steel appliances. Would there be any problem because of the high temps of the exhaust?

Peter.

I use chrome cleaner from any auto parts store. Also, if truly dirty, use very very fine grit sand paper...
