That is a sight of beauty ... a true classic ... despite my love for that car (legend coupe) ... I wouldn't shell out $29k for it. You might as well get a 2003 6-speed G35c for that ...

In the post, he states that in '94 the car booked at $43,000. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that seem extremely high. I would have guessed maybe $30,000 or so. Especially when you take into account inflation and the fact that you can get a fully loaded brand new TL for somewhere in the mid $30,000s. Oh well, just seemed off to me.

The 94/95 GS Sedan 6-Speed and the LS 6-Spped Coupe fully loaded sold for close to $45K. ( This was the Flagship of Acura in 95) Current RL's sell for that much.

I paid 8K less for my 95LCoupe Auto in 2001 w/ a 4 year 30,000 mile warranty. 53,000 on the OD when I brought mine.

Yeah Acura would prob. do the same for this car if it were to be sold. It's practically new. If the motor hasnt been beaten on the Legend will run FOREVER. Only common problems are mostly due to age or the person not taking the car in for regular mantience.

They need to put that thing in the Dupont Registry.

Great pictures, but if the car has been sitting around that long, you're going to have to replace a lot of the belts, hoses, etc. becaus they erode over time....think about that expense!!!!!!!!

I would so pick that car up if I had the car. I'd push it to the limits once and then go back to my 2k3 lol.

Man, that was an awesome find.... I always loved the Legends.... Man, if that car was available before I picked up my TL, then maybe I would have picked that up.... but 10 years old and the car is $28k?

Pros: No tranny problems... clean as hell.... 6 speed..... Coupe.... did I mention no tranny problems...
Cons: $28K for 10 year old ride..... (yeah, that is about it)

good dreams tonight my friends...

well the legend is a higher model the the tl...so understandbly it would have a higher sticker price...the legend was the flagship....its the precurser to the RL....the TL comparably is a lower model....

My '95 Legend LS Coupe 6-speed MSRP'd at $43,620 in March of 1995. The only thing Acura sold that was more expensive that year was the NSX. The coupe was even more expensive than the sedan (most likely because of the auto-close doors and the seat belt presenters).

LOVED that car.

Acura treated the top Legends like they do the RL now. Have a high MSRP but give them away on leasing. The lease on my Legend was only 3.1% back then.

Thanks for clearing that up guys, I guess I'd always thought the Legend was the precursor to the TL and not the RL. Oh well, learn something new everyday. :o

The Acura Vigor is actually the "precursor" to the TL.
