Question time then... my TL is parked under sprinklers at night and as thus is now full of water spots that i cannot get off no more due to the 100+ weather of the last 10 days.

Would a claybar take those off?
What IS a claybar anyway?
Any brand recommendations?

The claybar will remove those water stains. Claybar is an actual bar of clay specific to remove dirt and contaminates from your car, without damaging your paint. Most people use MOther's Clay Bar. MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS, ESPECIALLY USING A LIQUID IN A SPRAY BOTTLE PRIOR TO USING THE CLAY!

too remove the water stains you can give your car a good bath or maybe wax it too. Claybar is used to smooth out the car surface so rub your hand over the body and if its rough then thats when you need a claybar although make sure the car surface is always lubricated with water and the claybar should be clean.

Trust me.. the Rocky Mountains are nothing compared to the 'roughness' of my pain due to them water stains 100+ F weather does that

Anyways, i bought and will see tomorrow if it works after doing it, i'll treat my ride to a nice Carnuba wax job.

The clay will NOT remove everything; some tar and bug splats will require aggressive cleaning to get off even after claying. If you have waterspots that are etched into the paint you are out of luck too.

Well, after cleaning the car with the clay bar and then carnuba'ing it (man that stuff smells GOOD, made me hungry) .. it's like new!

Carnuba wax rocks.
