Post CL-S Wheels are on!!

After a very long thinking process, decided to go with CL-S wheels to retain the "factory" look.... I also added sway bars to the mix... I'm speechless with the results... all I can think of is !!
What an improvement over stock!!!! I'm loving every minute of it........
And YES, I already had 4 people ask me if that's the new "TL Type S"!
Ed
P.S. Sorry the car wasn't so clean and the tires weren't all shiny..They are now!

Nice. I like the OEM look. Looks very clean and yet sporty.

So the ppl are asking whether it's the new TL-S or not, eh? PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT EVER PUT ON THE TYPE S EMBLEM!!

BTW, don't they have door trims in silver???

I agree with those members on here that it look awesome with those CL S Rims! You prove once again that CL S rims can work on a TL. Great job.

I also have to agree about that black door trim, it takes the attention away from the lines and beauty of the car. I know you are trying to protect the door trim, but find something of the same color to not make it stick out as much.

Thanks for all the compliments! I personally like it a lot! I drove about 150 miles today and really got to test the suspension.......Soooooo much better than stock, I must say.. Only thing is I don't think the wheels are properly balanced, because they are shakin like a motha at high speeds.. I'll have them balance the wheels again when I go to my friends shop for the alignment..was supposed to do that today, but my convenient times for him were inconvenient, and vice versa..
Unfortunately, I have to live with those door guards because of where I park.. My driveway where my car goes is on the side of my house, between my house and the neighbor.. It's a relatively narrow driveway, so I always park with the passengers side very close to the wall(less than an inch) and I have about 30 inches of space on the drivers side to open the door, and the last thing I need is a chipped door... As for colors, when I had them installed(when my mom got into that accident with my car) they were only able to get the molding in black, not silver..

Looks good Ed- just be careful on hard turns at higher speeds. Let me know if you get any interference.

Even though I myself saw no rubbing from my method of checking, I would just rather be safe and go with the 225's.

yoyo ed, I'm pickin up me a set up TL-S rims and they're 17x6.5. You know what the stock tires are for the TL-S and think they'll fit without changing the tires?

Stock TL-S size tires are the same as CL-S: 215/50/17.

so would they fit better cause they're not as wide or does that have nothing to do with it. If I just stick it on there with the stock rubber will it rub?

On the contrary, According to Park Ave Acura, when they mounted the CL's stock wheels and tires on my car, it did not fit... Weird thing is that the OD of our stock tires are bigger than the OD of the CL's stock tires... But i would imagine that you may have more clearance with a 6.5" wheel rather than the 7", but don't take my word for it..
