Didn't mean to do this one, but this guy was asking for it.

It was about 10ish at night, traffic was pretty light, was going leeward bound via red hill(for those in hawaii) and ahead of me i saw a 97 CL slammed runnin ahead of me with dark tint exhaust, intake, etc, the usual. . . I think this boy cut his springs because his car was bouncing pretty heavily. Besides this fact, i thought his car was pretty clean so I pull up next to him and start to admire his car whilst in motion. My girl was tellin me that I should follow him and when he stopped, to see if he would be interested in joining Pimplux. However, his lane was slower and I was pretty tired already, so I just eased on by him @ about 60. About a minute later, i see mr. CL pull out of his lane and start to catch up. I pull into the slower lane on the right. . . and i see him coming. . After he speeds by me at around 70.. we're pretty much going neck and neck. . Then i tell my gf, "Lookie, i betcha this guy thinks I was calling him out to race awhile ago. Watch what he does when i get back into the fast lane". I proceed to cut out of the lane and push it to about 80. The guy proceeds to follow and takes off. . At around 95 in 5th I was already at my cut-off, so i just took it. was only a car length ahead... . (This whole time I didn't drop gear, until I got off the freeway) I've been driving that road since as long as I can remember, so i know the traffic movement on the cut-off, so I take the faster lanes and he disappears from my rear-view. I think he was really mad though because he was weaving through traffic frantically.. .. With all his mods he couldn't beat me in my stock TL-S rolling along in 5th gear. Tee hee. Can't a person just admire another's car without thinkin that he wants to challenge?

Oh and to those ppl who are about to bash me for freeway racing.. Don't. . traffic was very light and I took all the precautions. . we have a 6 lane freeway out pearl city side. there are hardly any accidents occuring on that section of the freeway. Yes, I already read the other posts concerning it already, and all i'm doin is tryin to tell a story here.

BTW, I hear what you're saying. Nowadays, if you just glance at another guy's car, it's automatically a challenge to a race.:p

 

If "traffic was very light" then why did he have to "weave through traffic frantically"? Something doesn't add up here.
