CL guy needs TL members help on p1399!!!!
Sup guys; my car hit me with a p1399 code after my supercharge install.
No one on the CL side seems to have much experience on this code. I was searching through the TL forums and found you guys experience this code a lot.
so heres my story. I installed the supercharger, took it out to the service road and gunned it and i started to see the MIL lamp flashing and it gave me a solid light right after. I coasted the car back home and restarted my car and the light was gone. I thought it was just the ESM connections i did not solder yet. So i soldered the connections and called it a day.
I was on the highway yesterday cruising at around sixty and i tapped on the gas very little and i felt a slight hesitation. Next thing i know the light was flashing again and turned solid. After i got my coffee and restarted the car; light went off.
I hooked it up to a scanner and its not even a store code; i only see it in pending codes. Now every time im under light acceleration or light throttle the car seems to hesitate very slightly.
I'm not even getting a isolated misfire code from any cylinder. Its just the p1399 in pending codes...??!!!!
anyone with any experience please chime in... thanks guys!

The supercharger kit comes with new plugs; colder plugs to compensate for higher combustion temperatures. I think its the RSX-S plugs. But anyway; i changed those during the install. The EGR was removed to install a bracket for the blower. But a new gasket was provided for re-installation.
I'm ruling out the EGR mainly because i'm not getting a code for it.
I don't know if the the Coil packs because my car was running great before the supercharge install. And my car idles very smooth and when im boosting as well.
Only on light throttle do i feel the faint miss...
I removed my intake manifold to remove the intake pleums, but i reused the old gasket..you guys think thats the reason?
any other ideas?

possible plugged injectors. something might have fallin in when u had the IM off? check all your connections by teh coils. and make sure your injectors are plugged in. i installed some colder spark plugs and forgot to plug one coil in. idled fine but under slight throttle i could feel it missing. stopped on teh side of the street and plugged it back in and my problem went away.

I am going to go with a bad plug that came with the kit. I don't think coil, they tend to work or not. suppose making sure that all the electrical clips to coils is in order, couldn't hurt.
