chip on my hood

I have noticed a small chip on my hood, about the size of a needle's head. Anybody know how to get it out?

damn you noticed a chip that small? i wouldn't even worry about it. or you can go to Acura and get some touch up paint if it bothers you that much. i have a few chips where my lisence plate used to be and i dont even think about them

Just leave it. Not worth the time and effort.

take a match stick or a tooth pick and use the very edge and fill the chip once, let dry and repeat till the hole is filled until the paint is even.

Get some langka to go with the touchup paint and you will never see the repair. It has to be factory touchup paint, about $ 8.00 and the langka is $ 23.90 shipped.

Langka removes the blob of paint you get when you use the touchup paint. I found it off this forum. Some people didn`t like it, but it worked great on a 2002 aegean blue paint. I used zaino wash & claybar to prep it and followed instructions and it came out fine.

Demmmmmmmm got cut behind a salt truck... grrrrr i hate these canadian winters

Now have two large chips on the hood. My baby only has 6ooo km and is naple gold... the chips show up a lot.

Can the dealer fix those? Will they need to paint the whole hood?

I would just leave it if it isn't too deep (it adds character ).

Anyone knows it is important to remove the rust before the touch-up paint or it is not necessary. B1aaatch.............pissed me off, I got 3 chips (with rust) at the front of the hood. It's either to TL is too fast or it is bad design at the front hood. Cheer

My hood is rusting in several places where the hood ends and the metal curves under...also in the little chips from stones. Is there a way to get rid of the rust without sanding and doing all that nonsense?

I had the hood replaced (or repaired...not sure) last November (I killed Bambi). The work is guaranteed for life...so I'm not sure if it's normal wear and tear, or if it's defective work/parts...
