well, as you all MAY remember, I was challenged a while ago, by a co-worker with an '02 Buick regal GS, to a race! I own an 03 TLP. we are scheduled to race each other on the 10th, at the great lakes dragaway, Union grove WI. Your all welcome, to stop by and watch! especially if you've got a type s, and live in the area, I may need back up.

 

What time are you guys planning on being there? I'll try to make it. I have an 02 SSM Type-S. Do you have any performance mods for your TL-P? I would love to have another run in before the season ends.

I think he'll most likely take you though. Heck, he'll probably take me too. Those GS are amazingly fast. With alot more torque and around the same weight as ours. But should be a good run.

Anybody else interested? We could make this a mini TL meet.

Were still deciding between this sunday, and next week because of the weather. If it rains on sunday, then it'll ruin our plans. My TLP is bone stock. I have taken a ride in his car, and its fU*king brutal!! :wow: But I think a type s should at least give him some competition!! I am very open to the mini meet idea, so us chicago area guys can get some runs in before the winter!

From wut i understand, Great Lakes is bout 2 hours away from downtown chicago.. is that sound bout right ?

 

If you are bone stock, he'll definitely take ya. But ain't nothing wrong with some good holsum fun...win or lose. Weather doesn't look good right now though. Let's see if it holds up. They are supposed to get scattered showers that day, but temperature wise certainly looks good. If it doesn't rain, I'll probably be there around 11ish. Hope to see more Chicagoans representin'.

I just checked the forecast, and it looks like it'll just be cloudy!! temps in the 50's!! barring any precip, we plan on arriving at 1pm, to start the fun!! I posted on the cl boards, so hopefully, some of our two door borthers can show up and represent!! thanks once again for all your surpport guys!!!!!
