To be honest in a non bashing way, I think you gotta do something about the toggle switch! Yikes! it does not go at all with the dash. Either get the correct for Acura fog light switch for the 2002 and up TL, or get anything in there other than that Radio Shack flip-me-to-"on"-to-activate-the-detonator-on-the-time-bomb that was just placed inside the luggage cargo hold on the airplane.

everything looks great except the foglight switch, it might be better if you just pick up an oem one from honda or acura.

ah yes the tennis ball, never again will i not pull in far enough, the fogs are some offbrand rally or something. but i guess im in the market for a new switch, how much for an oem one? um the intake i bought from this acp via this site, it took some wrestling but we got it to fit. 189 +/-

You have someone stand in the garage and you pull all the way up to where the car should be...then you mark that spot...get fishing line and a tennis ball...drill a screw into the ball and hang it from the ceiling so when you pull your car in as soon as the tennis ball hits the windshiled you know your in the perfect in the garage..

awesome job on the fogs! i love them! you don't know what brand of fogs they were? do you know what brand of bulbs you used? how hard was getting the fogs to fit in the "vents"? did you have to fabricate a mount for them?

peter.

ps. hey guys you can try this out for perfect parking: garage floor mat

they also sell it for 15-20 bucks at pepboys.

ok, the lights are some cheap brand i just wanted to see if i could actually do it. bulbs included. the bracket it came with was in a l_l shape and i sawed it in half to make a l_ and a _l then i bent it in the vice and made it more S like to fit the contour of the light. Then using the normal predrilled slots in the side of the now cut in half bracket, i bolted the two cut pieces on backwards to make a _lol_ shape with the "o" being the fog light. then i took a sharpie and traced the light in the middle of the plastic opening, tracing slightly smaller than the actual light. then i took the drill saw (absolutley wonderful invention) and cut it out. I then made the necessary adjustments to the hole with the saw to make the light sit just barely more than flush then i thru bolted it with some galvanized black bolts and nuts. I did the same on the other side, then wired it all up and put the bumper back on. I aimed em and that was that.
Hmm, garage mat - 20 bucks vs. old tennis ball, nylon string and am O ring screw - < 3 bucks, ill stick with my tennis ball.

ok heres the best pic of a similar bracket i could find:

ok now you just cut down the center making two L brackets.

ok now you use the predrilled holes on both ends to attatch to the fog light itself and the undrilled-out portion of the plastic on the bumper.

there you go
