Talking Check out the error in 2002 TL Brochure

Check this out. I was looking through the 2002 Brochure and found a picture of a 99 Sport Shift.

That's funny because in the '00 brochure they used the exact same photos that were in the '99 brochure, except they went to the trouble to update the instrument panel font, and the 5 speed sport shift instead of the 4 speed.

That's funny that you mentioned this; catching small errors in printed material. At Sprint PCS, I do a lot of collateral pieces and I take great pains to ensure 100% accuracy. There is some photoshopping done but you should never see the wrong caption on a picture or a photo that's incorrect. The folks laugh at me saying "Nobody's going to notice little things like this" but I know that they do. To me it is sorta silly to screw up like this. If you caught this, that's means people ARE noticing.

Anyway, a picture of a PCS phone had the date photoshopped in the display July 4, 2001 Mon and we all know that 4th was on a Wednesday. I had it changed and they called me picky.

Well, maybe it is the right picture after all? The gear indicator only goes down to 2 in that other picture, so maybe the lowest gear you can manually shift down to is 2? If so, then all the pics are correct.
I never got a good look at an 02 so I'm not sure. I did always wonder in what situation would require to manually shift down to 1 (not in SS) in the 5 speed auto.

the picture of the shifter is P R N D4 D3 D2 D1 while the 2000+ have P R N D5 D4 D3 D2 D1.
there is a big error in the 2000 (maybe all of them) brochure, there was this page on the interior, and a guy's hands on the steering wheel. The speedometer says like 20 MPH or something while the gear indicator shows a big red "P"

The guage is fine. The problem is with the picture that shows the cup holder. The selector in the 5 speed ends in a T, to shift between D2 and D1 the movement is right to left. The picture shows a selector that ends in |. Just a nit picky observation I made.
